Discover how Komax, with 176 stores in Chile, Peru & Uruguay, partnered with SkillNet to ensure that customers continued to have great shopping experiences after an explosive growth. Komax selected SkillNet because the complex project needed an experienced partner with strong capabilities in deploying Oracle Retail suite of cloud services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Komax and SkillNet not only adopted a big bang approach but the hugely complex cutover moved all stores to the new platform over 24 hours, all done remotely due to the pandemic.
The suite of services deployed in all Komax brick-and-mortar stores across Chile and Peru included Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS), Oracle Retail Xstore Office, Oracle Retail Customer Engagement, and Oracle Retail Order Broker. In the back office, the retailer deployed Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Retail Price Management, Retail Sales Audit, Retail Invoice Matching, and Retail Trade Management to build a foundation for the complex operations and inventory management.
